NAVARASA – The Color of Emotions, in association with the exclusive Cast Launch of DAM999, a Sohan Roy Film and the first Hollywood venture by the Mariners had given a good kick start with the exquisite traditional art forms including Kathakali and Bharatanatyam, bestowing the real touch of Kerala art and tradition to the audience. The team lead by dancer turned actress Sithara Balakrishnan showcased the old age Indian Concept of Navarasa. The first rasa Karuna, the emotion of compassion and empathy, is signified by the color Grey. The second rasa Roudra which evokes the aura of fury is signified by the color RED. Shringara rasa portrays the expression of love and romance with its color Green. The next rasa Hasya, the emotion of mirth which is signified by the color White is portrayed by color Pink in the show. Bheebhatsa a rasa which evokes the feeling of disgust is represented by its color Blue. The show brings the rasa Bhayanaka, the emotion of fear in Black and Veera, the heroic mood in color Orange. Adbudha rasa means wonder or astonishment is signified by the color Yellow and Shanta, the color of serenity, purity, tranquility and innocence is denoted by the color White.
